Summer is here full blast so, I need to get my weekend outings done in the mornings to beat the heat! I especially love walking the Los Rios area in San Juan Capistrano on Sundays because the we get to here the Mission bells chime.
There are also lots of flowers, shade trees, covered picnic tables in the park and dog-friendly shops and restaurants.
I really love stopping at Las Catrinas – one of Mom’s favorite shops. They have lots of shady areas on the patio and they like doggies! They also sell cold water which Mom and I share on our walk. They have lots of cool, colorful things. Mom even bought my Mexican blanket and her cool backpack here as well. I always stop and check things out when we walk by!
If you work up with an appetite, there’s lots of dog-friendly options all around! Mom especially likes Hummingbird Cafe, Hidden House Cafe and Rancho Viejo Winery. I also give them all 4 paws up!
