Ingredients

• 1 lb organic ground turkey (free-range, cruelty free of course!)
• Fur Chef Tip:  You can use Organic Ground Chicken as a variety!
• Diced Organic Frozen Veggies: (Pick 1 or 2) Broccoli, Carrots, Peas, Green Beans, Bell Pepper (See the AKC list of safe veggies for dogs)
• Organic Turmeric powder (We prefer Spicely Organics)
• Organic Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
• Organic Basmati rice
• Organic canned pumpkin

Toppers (Optional)

• Leafy Greens (Romain lettuce, arugula, endive, radicchio, spinach_
• Basmati Rice (small portion)
• Nupro Dog Powder or Just Food for Dogs Powder

Directions

1. Cook or lightly reheat Basmati rice per instructions
2. Place ground turkey on a plastic cutting board and sprinkle/cover with a thin layer of turmeric powder.
3. Add in 1 or 2 of the approved dog veggies.
4. Cut meat mixutre into 4 equal size pieces and form into burger patties!
5. Heat a cast-iron griddle or stainless steel pan with extra-virgin olive oil over low medium heat. When oil pops with a water sprinkle it’s ready!
6. Gently add Turkey burgers to the pan.
7. Brown burgers until slightly crips on one side, flip to cook the other side.
8. After the second side is heated, cut a small slice into the middle of the turkey burger with a knife spatula. If juice is clear it’s done. If juice is pink it needs to cook longer As soon as the pink color disappears in a nearby cut your burgers are ready!

How to Serve to Dogs

• Cut Turkey burgers into bite size pieces and line the bottom of your dog’s bowl.
• (Optional) Add a thin layer of cooked rice across the top of the burgers.
• (Optional) Drizzle a small amount of organic pumpkin on top of the rice.

Optional: Sprinkle Nupro Dog Powder or Just food for Dogs Powder on top!

How to Serve to People

• Grind a small amount of himalayan sea salt and pepper to the top
• Add your Favorite toppings, cheese, condiments and buns
