Do you WUV lots of space for walking, a scenic lake with streams and trails PLUS a variety of species of both local and migrating birds? Dog Friendly Laguna Niguel Regional Park surrounds a 44 acre lake and birding is especially popular here!

A Perfect Place for Birders!

Several species water birds and migrating birds love the lake at this amazing park. Some birds are long-time residents and if you’re lucky, you will occasionally get to see some rarer migrating birds.  It’s always fun to see Audubon Society members trying to get a shot of a special bird who’s stopping through!

A Perfect Place to Relax!

This is also where Scooby had his first outing after adopting his Mom! She wanted a beautiful, spacious place to take Scooby so he could relax and so she could assess his socialization / comfort in public. Scooby plopped right down on the blanket, took a snooze and da rest was livin theScoobylife! 🙂

This Park is also EXTREMELY spacious with plenty of room to relax, walk, work on your dog training and to walk with Fwiends without feeling crowded. There’s even boat rental and trout fishing (with permit)! So, bring the family, a picnic, bikes, walking shoes, lawn chairs, umbrellas, fishing poles or just a good book and claim your spot and enjoy the day!

Plan a Picnic!

Speaking of Picnics (we WUV a good picnic)…there are SEVERAL large picnic shelters here! Most require reservations if you’re planning a special event but if you want to sit down for a bite, you’ll see many empty picnic shelters where you can have a quick picnic and move on!

A Great Place to Exercise!

In the mood for exercise and activity? You’ll find it here too! The park has turf areas, horseshoe pits, a par course, a two mile jogging trail, two sand volleyball courts and four lighted tennis courts! All available for public enjoyment!

There are plenty of water fountains and restrooms throughout the park – except on the South Side of the lake. This side is also the hottest part of the lake trail (there’s also little shade)! So, be sure to bring your water bottle (we HIGHLY recommend our Scoobylife by PawVentures Squeeze Sport Bottle and Canteen!
