Do You have a Senior Dog? Are you thinking about adopting a Senior Dog? Senior Dogs are AMAZING! “Mature” pups typically enjoy nice, easy strolls, relaxing with you in the house and the yard and just chilin’ on Pawcation! How to Help Aging Dogs Stay Healthy and Happy is one of the most important and rewarding jobs you will have as a pet parent!
Scooby was already 8 years young when Mom found him on Petfinder.com! That’s considered a Senior Pet in the Dog and Cat world! Although Scooby felt like a young pup in his mind, he was already experiencing significant arthritic issues in his hips and rear legs due to lack of exercise in his previous life. Mom knew light walking, exercising and eventual gentle hills and stairs, joint supplements and healthy healing food were top priority to help Scooby recapture his health.
How Do You Help and Aging Dog?
As our dogs age, it’s also important to have more frequent health checks and observe their daily behavior. Learning how to care for your Senior Pup with preventative methods, diet, supplements, exercise and medical care has become easier for pet parents that ever before! It’s important to put together a great care “team” of integrative (Eastern) and Western trained veterinarian experts to support your senior dog during their aging journey. We’re here to help you do just that!
Mom’s FAVORITE group of Proactive Veterinarians from around the world routinely offer symposiums for proactive pet parents just like you! You can join them live and ask questions or watch replays at your own pace. The goal is to expose yourself to a variety of expert opinions so you can develop the best plan for you and your pup.
