Hey! Hurry! You don’t want to miss all of Spring happenings in So. OC! Birds, buds, bugs – all the things I love! Mom and I went to check out all the “buzz” haha, get, it? Buzz…..BOL 🙂 Wild flowers are popping up all over the place. Our pics are from Laguna Niguel Regional Park, Newport Beach and the 5 Freeway (both sides) between San Clemente and Carlsbad! Usually I hate sitting in traffic but this time Mom could take pics! There are lots of pretty colors on the trails and it’s not toooooo hot yet but, I took my backpack with doggy camel water packs just to be safe. Water on the go definitely came in handy because the sun is HOT! Be sure you stay on the trails and on a short leash because rattlesnakes are already out – and they are deadly for dogs and all pets. We started running into them 3 weeks ago – yuck! Check here for more rattlesnake tips. Bottom line, if your dog gets bit by a rattlesnake, carry them to your car and get them to any vet immediately for anti-venom to try to save your pup.
Mom and I also checked out Lake Calavera Trail in Carlsbad this weekend! Stay tuned for my review on that in my next post! If you love my blog, please share so other adventurous pups and their families can visit some of my favorite places!
I hope you enjoy my spring pics!
