Mom and I LOVE taking Scenic Drives in the Eastern Sierra during Fall Foliage. Colors begin in the Higher elevations typically in Late September and move down to the Mono Basin until mid-October if weather cooperates! The drive up Highway 395 usually is bursting with color the first and second week of October because you can see multiple elevations from the Highway!
