Today, on the eve of Scooby’s “gotcha” birthday, I received a message from Bringfido.com that they had just published their latest article which features my Beautiful, Handsome Boy, Scooby! Back in May, they had seen this wonderful photo of Scooby just relaxin’ on our cabin porch at Tamarack Lodge in Mammoth. They contacted me and asked if they could include Scooby in their upcoming piece on Lakefront Dog-friendly Vacations! Of course I said YES!
This photo of Scooby means so much to me. Within only a little over 2 months of joining the fur Smith family, Scooby and I were already on our first dog-friendly vacation! I had this unexplainable need for us to travel. Out of nowhere I planned Mammoth – I hadn’t been in over 10 years and I had only been in the winter during ski season! By early October we were road-tripping to the Eastern Sierra with reservations at…Tamarack Lodge!
Scooby and I experienced so many amazing and beautiful things in our short 6 years together as Mom and fur son. We loved sharing our adventures and photos with our friends and inviting them to join us – which is how Scooby’s blog was born. So much fun, so much love and so much adventure in so little time. I feel Scooby and I are still only at the beginning of our beautiful journey together which is now transcending universes – or, at least Rainbow Bridge. It’s now my job to carry the earthly torch for Scooby’s blog with Scooby as my angel co-pilot to light the way for pups and their pawrents to live their best Scoobylife too!
My heart is full tonight seeing my special Boy doing what he loved most…going on adventure. Thank you BringFido for being inspired by Scooby and thank you all for loving my boy.
