Created by Scooby Smith and Mom (just after he became a furSmith at the Senior age of 8 years old), theScoobylife is YOUR community of fellow Fur Kid lovers! Here you will find great Tips, Ideas, Stories, Group Challenges, Guidance and more to help you create a meaningful bond with your pup at home, during daily activities, day trips and while on Pawcation!

Shortly after Scooby became a furSmith he and Mom began going on PawVentures®…Local walkies, scenic drives, smelling flowers, bird watching, road trips to take photos and going on PawCation! Scooby and Mom were going on so many amazing PawVentures® that their Fwiends encouraged them to start a blog!

Scooby and Mom couldn’t wait to find the Best Dog-Friendly Restaurants, Walks, Hikes, Road Trips, Hotels, AirBnB’s, Cabins, RV’s and Adventures and report them on the blog! They even rented “Ready to Move In” RV’s on the Central Coast, Wine tasted at Dog-Friendly Wineries in Paso Robles but their FAVOWITE PawVenture became The Eastern Sierra!

Mom and Scooby are furever soulmates and Scooby Angel continues inspire theScoobylife with Angel Brother Zachy, Lil’ Sister Lovey, Mom and the newest furSmiths, Ella and Luna, on the ground doing all of the reporting!

We want to Inspire and Help YOU to discover the magic of PawVentures® with YOUR fur kids too! If you don’t have a pup, we hope Scooby’s story will help you listen to your heart and go on the search for your furever “soul pup” or any kind of pet through rescue.  Senior pets hold a special place in Mom’s heart.  In fact, Seniors are often overlooked and they deserve all the extra love and adventures to fill both of your hearts.

Most of all, find the pet that finds you.

If you can’t have pets, volunteer at local shelters or rescues as they need all the help they can get.  Pet sit for friends and family as it’s often costly and hard to find loving pet sitters!
